I am fascinated with the mundane objects that are filled with personal meaning, making them heirlooms. For me, these objects have been mostly clothing worn by loved ones (no surprise for an artist who loves textiles!). A couple of friends gave me other examples to use as inspiration for an ongoing series entitled Mundane Heirlooms.
